Studying in South Korea for 4 months

After settle down, Me and my sister started to plan our schedule for the next 3 months in Seoul. Since we have no classes on weekends, thats where we slot in our list to do or places to go.

1. Statue of King Sejong, Gwanghwamun Plaza and Gyeongbokgong palace

All of the above, are located at Gwanghwamun Plaza. Which you can visit everything in one day. There are 3 ways to go to Gwanghwamun Plaza:
1.GwanghwamunΒ Station (line 5, exit 1/2/8). 2 mins walk. 2. City Hall Station (line 1/2, exit 3/4). 8 mins walk. 3.Gyeongbokgung Station (line 3, exit 6/7). 9 mins walk

Gwanghwamun Plaza also are nearby to Insadong street which only a 13 mins walk!

2.Hongdae Street, Myeongdong Street and Namsam Tower (night view)

To go to Hongdae, take Subway Line 2 and stop at Hongik University Station. Then, look for Exit 9 and take a short walk to the happeningΒ streets.

There are 2 ways to go to Myeongdong Street: 1.Β Myeongdong Station ( Line 4, Exit 6) Β 2. Euljiro 1-ga Station ( Line 2 Exit 5/6)

Actually, Namsan Tower is near to Myeongdong, therefore you can take Exit 3. There’s a 2km trail up to Namsan Park with stairs for visitors to climb all the way up to the base of N Seoul Tower. It takes about 30 mins. It was tiring but worth!

4.Ehwa university, Seoul City Hall and Deoksugung Palace

To go to Ehwa Woman University, take Line 2 and goΒ out from Exit 2 or 3.

To go to Seoul City Hall, take subway and stop at City Hall station ( Line 1/2)

Deoksugung Palace is near to City Hall. Therefore, to go to Deoksugung Palace you can stop at City Hall Station (Line 1/2, Exit 1/2/12). Then get off at In front of City Hall, Deoksugung PalaceΒ Bus Stop.

4. MBC Headquarters and Seoul World Cup Stadium

You can go to MBC Headquarters by getting off at Digital Media City Station on Airport Railway Line, take Exit 9 and walk for 10 minutes towards the destination.

You can go to World Cup Stadium Station( Line 6,Exit 2) it is approx. 10 mins walk

5. Food

Its my favorite month of the year! Lets get Spooky and Wooky~

1.Kookmin University’s Fall Festival

2.Yeouido Park,Hangang River and Hangeul day

There are two ways to go Yeouido Park: 1.Yeouinaru Station ( Line 5, Exit 1) Walk 10 minutes towards SBS TV Station

2.Β YeouidoΒ Station ( Line 5,Exit 3) Walk 5 minutes towards the National Assembly building

Every 9 October is Hangeul Day(Korean Language Day) in South Korea to commemorate the invention of the Korean alphabet in the year 1443.

3.Insadong Street and National Institute of Forest Science

To go Insadong street, ride to Anguk Station (Line 3, Exit 6). Its approximately 5 mins walk.

5.Lotte World and Lotte World Aquarium

Finally, its time for Lotte World! I recommend to buy the One day pass ticket that includes Lotte World Aquarium which it was worth! Some more its Halloween Season! To go to Lotte World, Take the Jamsil Station (Line 2/8 Exit 4).

    1. Hi! sorry for the late reply~ I love tteokbokki ( rice cakes) and sundae (blood sausage made by steaming cow or pig’s intestines stuffed with various ingredients) the most! You should go and try!

    1. Hi laulau! Sorry for the late reply. My best experience were obviously the food .The worst experience was sometimes the road near city hall or Gwanghwamun plaza will suddenly closed and there will be no buses going to those routes. Since korea is a democratic country, from time to time there will be protestations etc going on. Therefore it made me several time that, I need to change routes
